New Issue: India’s Kalpataru Power plans Rs. 1 billion 8.11% five-year debentures

Chicago, Sept. 19 – Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd. notified the Bombay Stock Exchange that it plans to issue Rs. 1 billion of 8.11% redeemable debentures due 2022.

Kalpataru will issue 1,000 debentures with a face value of Rs. 1 million each through a private placement, according to the notice.

The executive committee of the company’s board of directors approved the issue at a meeting held Tuesday.

The notes will be rated and listed on the wholesale debt market segment of the BSE Ltd.

The Mumbai-based diversified conglomerate is involved in real estate, power generation and transmission, construction of roads, factories, buildings and oil and gas infrastructure and agri-logistics.
