Erin Energy U.S. Trustee appoints committee of unsecured creditors

Pittsburgh, May 17 – Erin Energy Corp.’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Wednesday by acting Region 7 U.S. Trustee Henry G. Hobbs Jr., according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
The committee members are Christopher J. Ryan of Baker Hughes of Houston; Ola Oladeji of Oceanic Consultants Nigeria Ltd. of Lagos, Nigeria; Donald Burell of Schlumberger Overseas SA of Houston; Brady K. Long, representing Transocean Offshore Gulf of Guinea VII Ltd. and Indigo Drilling Ltd. of Houston; Adedunmade Onibokun of James Street Capital Ltd. of Lagos, Nigeria; Nathan Gopi and Ononuju Emecheta of AOS Orwell Ltd. of Rivers State, Nigeria; and Malcom Gomes of Armada Oyo Ltd. of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Based in Houston, Erin Energy is an explorer, developer and producer of oil and gas. The company filed bankruptcy on April 25 under Chapter 11 case number 18-32106.
