Wet Seal operating loss grows to $102,000 in December amid no sales

Pittsburgh, Feb. 1 – Wet Seal, LLC posted a $102,000 operating loss for December on zero sales, according to its monthly operating report filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, Wet Seal reported a $16,000 operating loss for November, also on zero sales.

The company had $205,000 in cash and cash equivalents as of Dec. 31, down from $312,000 at the end of November.

Wet Seal, a Foothill Ranch, Calif. clothing retailer, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 2, 2017. The Chapter 11 case number is 17-10229.
