New Issue: Barclays sells $500,000 notes due 2023 on fund, index basket

Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 4 – Barclays Bank plc priced $500,000 of 0% notes due Aug. 31, 2023 linked to an equally weighted basket of three funds and one index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the Vanguard REIT ETF, the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR fund, the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, each with 25% weights.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.25 times any basket gain. If the basket finishes flat or falls, the payout will be par.
