New Issue: HSBC sells $191,000 barrier participation notes with call feature on two SPDR ETFs

Chicago, Dec. 5 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $191,000 of 0% barrier participation notes with call feature due April 1, 2024 linked to the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund and the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be called at par plus 12.5% if each ETF closes at or above its initial level on March 29, 2023.

If the notes are not called and each ETF finishes at or above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.8 times the return of the least performing ETF.

If the least performing ETF declines but finishes at or above its 70% barrier level, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the least performing ETF from its initial level.
