Transmar Commodity sees $756,736 net loss for month ended March 31

Pittsburgh, April 18 – Transmar Commodity Group Ltd. reported a $756,736 net loss for March on $3.99 million in net revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In comparison, Transmar posted a $928,689 net loss for February on $5.75 million in net revenue.

In addition, the company had $6.93 million in cash and cash equivalents as of March 31, down from $7.83 million at the end of February.

Morristown, N.J.-based Transmar operates as a full-service cocoa trading and cocoa butter product supplier to the international confectionary industry. The company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 31 under Chapter 11 case number 16-13625.
