Prospect News reports six new defaults for Sept. 14-Sept. 20

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 22 – Prospect News reported six new defaults for Sept. 14 through Sept. 20.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by iAero Tech (Aerotech Miami Inc.), UpHealth Holdings, Inc. (UpHealth, Inc.) and American Physician Partners LLC, a Chapter 15 filing by Sunac China Holdings Ltd., a missed interest payment by Sino-Ocean Group Holding Ltd., and a CCAA filing by BioSteel Sports Nutrition Inc. (Canopy Growth Corp.).

So far in 2023, Prospect News has reported 192 defaults, including 128 Chapter 11 filings; 23 missed interest payments; 12 missed principal and interest payments; six CCAA filings; six Chapter 15 filings; three missed principal payments; two each of liquidations, conciliations, Chapter 7 filings, missed interest payments paid within a grace period and recapitalizations; and one each of bankruptcies, reorganizations, judicial reorganizations and schemes of arrangement.

The companies that filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy during the week reported at least $200 million of assets and at least $1.1 billion of liabilities collectively.
