S&P upgrades BioMarin

Standard & Poor's said it raised the corporate credit rating on BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. to B from B-and revised its subordinated debt ratings to B-.

The outlook is stable.

"The upgrade reflects BioMarin's improving financial performance, based on strong sales growth of its three marketed products," S&P analyst Brian Jones said in a statement.
