New York, March 21 - BioForce Nanosciences Holdings, Inc. said it wrapped a $6 million private placement of shares at a 66% discount to the current stock price.
The company sold 4 million shares of restricted stock at $1.50 each.
Proceeds from the deal will be used for the commercialization of the company's NanoArrayer system, a software platform that addresses intractable research problems.
Based in Ames, Iowa, BioForce develops nanotechnology products with a focus on biotechnology applications.
