Moody's assigns Avolon Holdings Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa3 backed long-term issuer rating to Avolon Holdings Ltd. The Baa3 long-term senior unsecured ratings of subsidiaries Avolon Holdings Funding Ltd. and Park Aerospace Holdings Ltd. are not affected by this new rating assignment. The outlook for Avolon and its rated subsidiaries is stable.

Moody's assignment of a Baa3 backed long-term issuer rating to Avolon reflects Avolon's consolidated credit profile, as well as Moody's expectation that, were senior unsecured notes ever issued by Avolon as the holding company of the Avolon group, the notes would be supported by subsidiary guarantees so as to be pari passu with the Baa3-rated senior unsecured notes issued by subsidiaries Avolon Holdings Funding and Park Aerospace Holdings.
