Credit Agricole issues green asset-backed commercial paper

Chicago, July 7 – Credit Agricole CIB issued the first green asset-backed commercial paper note, raising $25 million, according to a news release.

The notes will finance electric vehicles in client auto loan and lease pools.

Credit Agricole is expecting more asset-backed commercial paper notes in the future.

The note was issued by La Fayette Asset Securitisation LLC.

Credit Agricole is a cooperative bank based in Montrouge, France.
