Prospect News reports three new defaults for Dec. 2-Dec. 8 period

Olympia, Wash., Dec. 10 – Prospect News reported three new defaults for the period of Dec. 2 through Dec. 10.

Specifically, Prospect News reported a Chapter 11 filing made by Strike LLC, a bankruptcy filing in Taiwan made by Inventec Solar Energy Corp., and a Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act filing made by Harte Gold Corp.

Prospect News also reported a missed interest and principal payment on Sunshine 100 China Holdings Ltd.’s 10˝% senior notes due 2021, but the company had already defaulted on Aug. 11.

So far in 2021, Prospect News has reported 137 defaults, including 96 Chapter 11 filings, 12 missed interest payments, seven each of Chapter 15 filings and missed principal payments, five missed interest and principal payments, three Chapter 7 filings, two each of Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act filings and bankruptcy filings, and one each of Canada Business Corporations Act filings, safeguard proceedings and schemes of arrangement.

Strike reported over $100 million in both assets and liabilities.
