BI-LO unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, March 31 - BI-LO, LLC's official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Monday by Region 4 U.S. trustee W. Clarkson McDow Jr., according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina.

The committee members are Sandra Schirmang of Kraft/Nabisco, based in Northfield, Ill.; Tom Gerhardt of Cardinal Health 110, Inc. of Dublin, Ohio; Emily Chou of Kellogg Co., based in Fort Worth, Texas; Mark Gross of C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. of Keene, N.H.; Jerri D. Sponik of Sara Lee Corp., based in Earth City, Mo.; Eric C. Cotton of Developers Diversified Realty Corp. of Beachwood, Ohio; Richard W. Stiteler of Coca-Cola Bottling, Inc. of Brandon, Fla.; Michael Bevilacqua of Bottling Group, LLC (Pepsi), based in Winston Salem, N.C.; and Jess Maggard of Flowers Baking Co. of Morristown, LLC of Morristown, Tenn.

BI-LO, a Greenville, S.C., supermarket operator, filed for bankruptcy on March 23. The Chapter 11 case number is 09-02140.
