MetLife Global offers three-year FA-backed fixed-rate notes, floaters

By Cristal Cody

Chicago, Sept. 21 – MetLife Global Funding is planning to sell a two-part offering of notes backed by funding agreements, a market source reported.

The issuer is planning a tranche of floating-rate notes based on SOFR and a fixed-rate series with talk for a spread in the high 40s basis points area over Treasuries.

Both series will mature Sept. 27, 2024.

Barclays, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and TD Securities (USA) LLC are the bookrunners.

The issuer is a financing arm of New York City-based insurance and employee benefits company MetLife Inc.
