Thar Pharmaceuticals registers $50 million of stock for initial sale

Bookrunner SunTrust Robinson Humphrey will be assisting with offering

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 19 – Thar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. will price its initial public offering of common stock with a 30-day greenshoe, according to a Form S-1 filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company has registered up to $50 million of stock for the deal.

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey is the bookrunner.

Proceeds will be used for clinical trials, research and development, working capital and other general corporate purposes.

The biopharmaceutical company is based in Pittsburgh. The company intends to list its common stock on the Nasdaq under the symbol “THAR.”
