Fitch lowers Guacolda Energia

Fitch Ratings said it downgraded Guacolda Energia SA's long-term foreign and local currency issuer default ratings to BB from BBB-.

The outlook was revised to negative from stable.

“Guacolda's ratings downgrade reflects the weaker parent relationship with AES Gener, its declining contractual position, recontracting risk and higher expected leverage due to decreasing EBITDA,” the agency said in a news release.
