India’s Bharti Airtel board to consider issuing nonconvertible debt

Minneapolis, March 7 – Bharti Airtel Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board of directors will meet on March 12 to consider raising funds through issuing securities.

The securities would be in the form of secured, unsecured, listed and/or unlisted nonconvertible debentures, bonds or other debt instruments denominated in Indian rupees or other foreign currencies.

Bharti Airtel is a mobile telecommunications company based in New Delhi.
