India’s Bharti Airtel eyes Rs. 100 billion private placement of notes

Chicago, Jan. 24 – Bharti Airtel Ltd. notified the Bombay Stock Exchange that it plans to issue up to Rs. 100 billion of debentures in a private placement.

The issue was approved at a board meeting held Tuesday, according to the notice.

Bharti Airtel is a mobile telecommunications company based in New Delhi.
