India’s Bharti Airtel board to discuss private placement of new debt

Norfolk, Va., Jan. 19 – Bharti Airtel Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board of directors will meet on Tuesday to consider raising funds through a private placement of debentures or bonds.

Bharti Airtel is a mobile telecommunications company based in New Delhi.
