S&P: Bharti Airtel notes BBB-

Standard & Poor’s said it assigned a BBB- long-term issue rating to a proposed issuance of benchmark-sized dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes by Bharti Airtel Ltd.

The proceeds will be used toward capital expenditures, which will enable the company to apply its business cash flows towards de-leveraging, S&P said.
