S&P affirms ENA Sur Trust notes

S&P said it affirmed its BBB rating on ENA Sur Trust's senior secured notes due 2025.

The outlook remains stable.

The agency said the affirmation reflects expectations that ENA Sur Trust will continue to post solid financial performance thanks to projected traffic increases and stable operating costs.

“We believe that traffic levels will continue to grow in the next three years at an annual 6%-8% rate as a result of solid economic growth that would bolster vehicular traffic, and due to increasing congestion on free alternative roads where construction work is underway (on line 2 of the nearby Panama Metro),” S&P said in a news release.
