BGC greenshoe exercised, lifts 8.125% senior notes to $112.5 million

Madison, Wis., June 28 - The underwriters of BGC Partners, Inc.'s recent offering of 8.125% senior notes due 2042 exercised their over-allotment option to purchase an additional $12.5 million of notes, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

This brings the total deal size to $112.5 million. BGC priced $100 million of the 8.125% $25-par notes on June 21 with a $15 million greenshoe. The initial notes settled on June 26.

The additional notes were issued on Thursday, according to the filing.

Wells Fargo Securities, LLC was the lead underwriter.

BGC is a New York-based brokerage company primarily servicing the wholesale financial and property markets.
