EA Partners files proofs of claim in Alitalia insolvency proceedings

Pittsburgh, July 15 – EA Partners I BV and EA Partners II BV filed proofs of claim in connection with notes issuances in the Alitalia insolvency proceedings, according to notices released Wednesday.

EA Partners I filed a claim based on its $700 million 6 7/8% notes due 2020, and EA Partners II filed a claim based on its $500 million of 6¾% notes due 2021.

Both claims were filed on July 13.

According to the notices, a meeting of noteholders voted in favor of an extraordinary resolution that authorizes the issuers to file the claims in the Alitalia proceedings on May 13.

EA Partners is an Amsterdam-based special purpose vehicle linked to Etihad Airways, a United Arab Emirates airline.
