Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 27 – La Francaise de l’Energie issued a seven-year green bond in an initial tranche of €25 million, according to a press release.
There is an optional second tranche of €15 million.
Initially, the deal was planned to be sized at €40 million for the first tranche, with a possible €15 million second tranche.
Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management is the investor.
The company will use the proceeds for the development of its energy portfolio in France and Belgium.
Forbach, France-based La Francaise de l’Energie is involved in the evaluation of gas resources in France and specializes in coal bed methane.
