La Francaise de l’Energie may sell €55 million seven-year green bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 27 – La Francaise de l’Energie plans to price a seven-year green bond to raise up to €55 million, according to a press release.

The deal will raise €40 million initially, with a possible €15 million second tranche.

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management is the investor.

The company will use the proceeds for the development of its energy portfolio in France and Belgium.

Forbach, France-based La Francaise de l’Energie is involved in the evaluation of gas resources in France and specializes in coal bed methane.
