By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, April 29 - The government of Bermuda has set price talk for its $200 million private placement of notes, according to a market source.

Tranches of five-year, seven-year and 10-year notes are talked at the 400 basis points area over the respective Treasury benchmarks.

The deal could price before the end of the week, the source said.

J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. is the placement agent.

Bermuda is viewed as an NAIC-1 issuer by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
