Berkeley Resources wraps A$4.79 million private placement of stock

Uranium explorer may issue another A$10.21 million of ordinary shares

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 29 - Berkeley Resources Ltd. said it concluded a private placement of shares on Friday. Resource Capital Fund V LP, the investor, bought A$4.79 million of shares.

The company sold 3.3 million ordinary shares at A$1.45 per share. The price per share represents a 20.77% discount to the Nov. 25 closing share price of A$1.83. Berkeley may sell another 7.04 million shares to the investor before Jan. 31 at the same price for up to A$10.21 million.

Berkeley is a uranium exploration company based in Perth, Australia.
