Fitch affirms Bepensa

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the BBB foreign- and local-currency issuer default ratings of Bepensa SA de CV.

The agency also said it assigned a national scale long-term rating of AA+(mex).

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect the company's successful track record as a Coca-Cola bottler in the Yucatan peninsula and the Dominican Republic, strong business position in authorized territories, solid financial profile and improved revenue diversification, Fitch said.

The ratings also consider its well developed beverage distribution system, the agency said, as well as its participation in a favorable market characterized by high consumption of soft drinks per capita.

The ratings are constrained by the increasing pressure in raw material costs and competitive pressures of other bottlers, Fitch added.
