S&P affirms Scottish Equitable A+ rating

S&P said it affirmed Scottish Equitable plc’s A+ rating.

The company is a well-established insurer in the U.K. market with a solid financial profile, the agency said in a news release.

The outlook remains negative and mirrors the outlook for Aegon NV’s other core units.
