Fitch revises Aegon view to negative

Fitch Ratings said it revised the Outlook for Aegon NV, its primary North American life insurance subsidiaries (Aegon Americas) and Scottish Equitable plc (together referred to as Aegon) to negative from stable. All ratings have been affirmed.

The revision reflects disruption to economic activity and financial markets from the pandemic, Fitch said.
