New Issue: Citigroup sells $8.16 million index-linked notes tied to MSCI EAFE

Morgantown, W.Va., July 26 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $8.16 million of 0% index-linked notes due Jan. 25, 2019 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 300% times any index gain, up to a maximum return of 18%.

Investors will be fully exposed to any index decline.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
