Rhode Island Health eyes offering to refund up to $114.99 million debt

New York, March 11 – The Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corp. is considering a refunding bond sale to refund debt issued for Rhode Island Hospital, the Miriam Hospital, Emma Pendleton Brandley Hospital, Rhode Island Hospital Foundation and the Miriam Hospital Foundation, according to a notice from the issuer on Friday.

The proposed deal will refund $114,985,000 of outstanding series 2009A revenue bonds.

Pricing of the deal is contingent upon market and other conditions.
