Azerbaijan’s Southern Gas Corridor sets initial talk in 7% area for 10-year dollar notes

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, March 17 – Azerbaijan’s Southern Gas Corridor CJSC set initial talk in the 7% area for a 10-year issue of dollar-denominated notes that is set to price on Thursday, a market source said.

Citigroup, JPMorgan and UniCredit are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

The issuer is owned by the Republic of Azerbaijan and represents the country’s interest in the Southern Gas Corridor Project, a cross-border series of projects to produce, transport and distribute natural gas from the Caspian Sea region.
