Morgan Stanley plans 13% notes linked to 30-, two-year ICE swap rates

Chicago, April 11 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 13% fixed-rate buffered securities due May 2018 linked to the spread of the 30-year U.S. dollar ICE swap rate over the two-year U.S. dollar ICE swap rate, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest will be payable monthly.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the final spread is below the 50% threshold, in which case investors will lose 2% for each 1% decline beyond 50%.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price in April.

The Cusip number is 61766YBF7.
