MediCorp Health System Obligated Group, Va., considers refunding bonds

New York, Feb. 22 – The Economic Development Authority of Stafford County, Va., is considering a refunding bond sale for MediCorp Health System Obligated Group, according to a statement released Monday by the issuer.

The proposed deal will be used to refund $123,855,000 of series 2006 revenue bonds.

The obligated group includes Mary Washington Healthcare and its affiliates, Mary Washington Hospital Inc., Mary Washington Hospital Foundation Inc. and MediCorp Properties Inc.

The sale of the bonds is contingent upon market and other factors.
