Morgan Stanley plans accelerated barrier notes tied to iShares MSCI EM

Chicago, Jan. 18 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% accelerated barrier notes due Jan. 27, 2022 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

If the fund finishes at or above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 127% of the gain.

If the fund finishes at or above the 70% trigger level, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Jan. 23 and settle on Jan. 26.

The Cusip number is 61768CEB9.
