S&P views Colombia banks negatively

S&P said it revised its outlook for seven Colombian banks to negative from stable and affirmed their BB+ long-term issuer and senior unsecured ratings.

On Thursday, the agency revised its outlook for Colombia to negative and affirmed its BB+ foreign-currency and BBB- local-currency issuer ratings.

The banks are Bancolombia SA y Companias Subordinadas and its Panama-based subsidiaries Banistmo SA and Bancolombia Panama SA, Banco de Bogota SA y Subsidiarias, Banco Davivienda SA, Financiera de Desarrollo Territorial SA (Findeter) and Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional SA.
