S&P: Brookfield Property BBB

Standard & Poor's said it assigned a BBB corporate credit rating to Brookfield Property Partners LP.

The outlook is stable.

The rating reflects the company's significant scale and diverse real-estate platform, which is located in high entry barrier markets with stable economic fundamentals and growing populations, S&P said.

The company is well diversified among property types, the agency added.

The stable outlook reflects an expectation that Brookfield will use asset-sale proceeds to de-leverage its balance sheet in the next two years, S&P said.
