Louisiana Pellets five-member unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, March 15 – Louisiana Pellets, Inc.’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Tuesday by acting Region 5 U.S. Trustee Henry G. Hobbs Jr., according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

The committee members are chairman Jon A. Majewski of Entergy Services, Inc. of Jefferson, La.; James L. Davis Construction of Ruston, La.; Hans Juergen Wich of Elektro Fischer USA, LP of Woodville, Texas; CPM Europe BV of Zaandam, The Netherlands; and Thomas J. Kervin of Winn Timber Products, LLC of Winnfield, La.

Louisiana Pellets, a Urania, La., wood pellets manufacturer, filed bankruptcy on Feb. 18 under Chapter 11 case number 16-80162.
