Brazil’s Braskem issues call for $300 million portion of 6.45% notes

Columbus, Ohio, June 24 – Braskem Finance Ltd. issued a redemption notice for a $300 million portion of its outstanding 6.45% notes due 2024 (Cusips: 10553YAF2), according to an anouncement on Friday.

The make-whole call will take place June 30 at the greater of the make-whole price calculated using Treasuries plus 50 basis points and par, plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Bank of New York Mellon is the paying agent.

Braskem is a Sao Paulo-based petrochemical company.
