Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy gets commission OK for bond issue

Madison, Wis., May 17 - Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co., Ltd. said that the Issuance Examination Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission approved the company's application for a proposed bond issue.

As previously announced, Beijing Jingneng plans to issue up to RMB 3.6 billion of corporate bonds. The bonds will have a maturity of no more than seven years.

The Beijing-based clean energy company will use proceeds to repay loans and replenish working capital.
