Moody’s views Everbright negatively

Moody’s Investors Service said it revised its outlook for China Everbright Ltd. to negative from stable and affirmed its Baa3 long-term issuer and Baa3(hyb) foreign-currency long-term ratings.

“The outlook change to negative from stable reflects (1) the company's weakened financial position after reporting net losses in the first half of 2022 due to the volatile capital market and (2) the increasing operating challenges facing the company's fund management and investment businesses,” the agency said in a press release.
