Moody’s rates Guotai Junan notes Baa1

Moody’s Investors Service said it gave Guotai Junan Holdings Ltd.’ dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes a Baa1 rating.

The company will issue the notes under its (P) Baa1-rated $3 billion medium-term note program. The program’s notes are guaranteed by Guotai Junan Securities Co., Ltd.

Moody’s noted that notes sold under the program are not automatically rated at the same level as the program’s rating.

The outlook is in line with Guotai Junan Securities’ stable outlook.
