Scotiabank to price Accelerated Return Notes on four tech stocks

Morgantown, W.Va., March 26 – Bank of Nova Scotia plans to price 0% Accelerated Return Notes due June 2019 linked to an equally weighted basket of four technology sector stocks, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The underlying companies are Amazon.com, Inc., Facebook, Inc., Alphabet Inc. and Netflix, Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any basket gain, up to a capped return of 15% to 19%.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

BofA Merrill Lynch is the agent.

The notes will price in March and settle in April.
