Entertainment One talks £285 million seven-year notes to yield 7%-7¼%; pricing Friday

By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., Dec. 3 – Entertainment One Ltd. talked a £285 million offering of seven-year senior secured notes (B1/B+) to yield 7% to 7¼%, according to a market source.

Books close at 5 a.m. ET on Friday, and the Rule 144A and Regulation S for life notes offering is set to price thereafter.

Global coordinator JPMorgan will bill and deliver.

Barclays and BofA Merrill Lynch are the bookrunners. RBC, SunTrust and TD are the co-managers.

The notes come with three years of call protection.

The Toronto-based international entertainment group plans to use the proceeds to refinance debt and for general corporate purposes.
