Oberthur to redeem 9¼% senior notes due 2020 on Jan. 10 at 104.625

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 21 – Oberthur Technologies Group SAS issued a conditional notice of redemption for its €190 million 9¼% senior notes due 2020.

The company plans to redeem all of the outstanding notes on Jan. 10 at 104.625, for a total redemption price of €198,787,500, plus accrued interest to but excluding the redemption date of €3,417,361.

The redemption is conditioned on the issuer drawing sufficient funds from a new senior credit facility to pay the redemption price on the notes.

Oberthur is a Paris-based provider of chip-based digital authentication products and solutions with an expertise in digital security processes, software and cryptography.
