Alexandria aims to sell fixed-rate senior notes via four bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., March 23 – Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. plans to price dollar-denominated fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have a make-whole call and then a par call.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., BofA Securities, Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including reducing debt under the company’s unsecured senior line of credit and commercial paper program.

The notes will be guaranteed by Alexandria Real Estate Equities, LP. Pasadena, Calif.-based Alexandria Real Estate Equities is a real estate investment trust focused on life science and technology campuses.
