New Issue: Bear Stearns prices $3 billion 7.25% 10-year notes at Treasuries plus 362.5 bps

Omaha, Jan. 29 - The Bear Stearns Cos. Inc. priced $3 billion 7.25% 10-year senior global notes Tuesday to yield Treasuries plus 362.5 basis points, market sources said.

The non-callable notes (A2/A/A+) priced at 99.726 to yield 7.289%.

Bookrunner was Bear Stearns & Co. Inc.

Co-managers were Citigroup Global Markets Inc.; RBC Capital Markets Corp.; Banc of America Securities LLC; BB&T Capital Markets, a division of Scott & Stringfellow, Inc.; the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, Inc.; DZ Financial Markets, LLC; HSBC Securities Inc.; Scotia Capital Inc.; Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. Inc.; and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.
