Albertsons to repay some term B-7 borrowings with new note proceeds

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 7 – Albertsons Cos., Inc. plans to repay some term loan B-7 borrowings using proceeds from a $750 million senior notes offering.

The notes offering was upsized from $500 million prior to pricing.

Prior to the upsizing, the company said it had planned to repay about $495 million of the term loan tranche B-7.

Albertsons is a Boise, Idaho-based grocery company.
