Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 20 – EDF SA issued ¥26 billion of samurai green bonds with 12- and 15-year maturities, according to a press release.
A ¥19.6 billion 12-year tranche has a 1.278% fixed coupon.
A ¥6.4 billion 15-year tranche as a fixed coupon of 1.569%.
The bonds were EDF’s first participation in the samurai green market and are dedicated to the financing of its renewable investments.
The company also priced a 10-year ¥107.9 billion bond, with a fixed coupon of 1.088% and a 20-year ¥3.1 billion bond with a fixed coupon of 1.87%.
EDF is an integrated electricity company based in Paris.
